How to read this lab
Opportunity
SCV is a LabWRX index of scoring chances. Target share, opportunity share, and SCV Share describe different parts of a player's role. SCV Share uses the team’s charted scoring chances in the same games as the player. Its position-specific tiers use the 2025 season as a working benchmark and require at least 40 targets plus carries. Production
PPR shows recorded fantasy output. Compare it with opportunity and recent trends to investigate players, not to assume a rebound or a breakout.
Coverage
Regular seasons 2021–2026; the current season includes completed games in the source feed. Public play-by-play has gaps in two-point plays, fumbles and some special-teams scoring. Historical SCV is an exploratory index; predictive value has not been validated.
